Beachside Holiday Accommodation

Eddington Cottage is a holiday house at Point Lonsdale, Victoria bequeathed by Miss Caroline Eddington to the Anglican Diocese of St Arnaud, which later merged to become part of the Bendigo Diocese.

The purpose of the accommodation is to provide affordable beachside accommodation for the clergy of the Anglican Church of Australia and their families, laity (non-clergy) who hold a lay office (bishop’s authorisation), and active parishioners of the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo.

The previous weatherboard house was replaced by a modern, two storey structure (officially opened in 2015) boasting 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor eating area, a spacious open kitchen and 2 living areas.

Situated at 153A Point Lonsdale Road (Cnr Nicholas Crt) directly across from the beach and just a few minutes walk from the shops; it is the ideal location for rest and refreshment all year round.

Accommodation bookings of up to 7 nights (1 booking per year per family) for Eddington Cottage can be made. If your booking includes a weekend, we will require a four-night minimum booking.
