Accommodation bookings of up to 7 nights (1 booking per year per family) for Eddington Cottage can be made by clergy of the Anglican Church of Australia and their families, laity (non-clergy) who hold a lay office (bishop’s authorisation) and active parishioners of the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo. If your booking includes a weekend, we require a four-night stay minimum.
How does it work?
Booking requests can be submitted using the online calendar below. You will receive an email after you have made a request, confirming your pending booking. Please note, it may go through to your spam folder. If approved you will receive an email indicating confirmation of the booking and payment details. If rejected, please contact us and we will try and find an alternative.

School Holiday Periods
Victorian School holiday periods are reserved for clergy bookings until 2 weeks prior to the holiday period, at which time any vacancies will become generally available. During school holidays preference is given to clergy with school-age children (NB: this does not include grandchildren). You can express your interest in booking during these periods by emailing [email protected].
During the Christmas (December/January) holiday period bookings are allocated to clergy via a ballot system. Clergy of the Bendigo Diocese will be advised when applications for the ballot are open.
Please note, Eddington is only available for one stay of up to 7 nights per family in a calendar year.
Cleaning: Professional cleaning is conducted after every guest check-out and is separate from the general clean & tidy, which is a conditional requirement of the occupants prior to check out. This adds an additional single cost to each reservation and increases on Saturdays and Sundays. Fees are as follows:
Check- out on a weekday: $115
Check- out on a Saturday: $172.5
Check-out on a Sunday or Public Holiday: $230
